Kestrel Lodge Campsite Has New Owners!

Yep, big news over at Kestrel Lodge campsite, folks. There are new peeps in the hotseat, fresh paws on the ground, but the same old tranquil vibe we know you've come to cherish! Without further ado...

Meet Pip and Fluke...

(Fluke is black, white and tan, Pip--his mum--is black and white)

….and their mums Cassy and Charlie, who are taking over Kestrel Lodge from Louise, Andrea, Suzy and Dave.

Pip and Fluke having been living in the Peak District and love nothing better than scampering up and down the fells, chasing a good ball, Pip could be monitoring any kind of childish nonsense or Fluke loves a good chin scratch once you pass his vetting process. You’ll find them wandering around the campsite or working at reception from time to time, usually when one of their mums tells them they need to work for their dinner that day, or generally enjoying the view and watering the grass at Kestrel Lodge Campsite.

Cassy and Charlie however will be working hard to keep Kestrel Lodge the peaceful, friendly and easy going place you’ve come to know and love over the past eight years. We truly wish them and all of you the very best with everything.

We aren’t going far though. You’ll still see us about, as we’ll just be living at Kestrel Keep, we’ve all just made some decisions that will take us away from the campsite; Suzy and Dave have decided that it’s time for them to hang up their wellie’s and retire, Andrea is concentrating on her writing again while she recuperates, and Louise didn’t want to run the campsite on her own—Gabe just wasn’t any good with a mop and his arithmetic is truly atrocious!

From Louise, Andrea, Suzy, Dave and Gabe

Remember what happens at the Campfire…stays at the Campfire!

P.S.   The hens aren’t going anywhere either. They’ve claimed squatter’s rights…
