2024 is already shaping up to be a Cracker!!!

First things first.... Happy New Year everyone! From all the family at Kestrel Lodge we hope it brings you everything you hope for, all you deserve and lots and lots of jolly good fun on the side. And with that said, I'll move on to Louise's cameo role... (throw in a Rita Hayworth head toss and a few 'Dahlings' here and there and you've just about it...)

As some of you may already know, towards the end of September, we had a couple of well known faces vist us at Kestrel Lodge. The one and only Geordie Crooner (that I know anyway), who was also in Wire in the Blood, Soldier Soldier, Grantchester, Northern Lights, and a ton of other stuff.

They chose the glamping option and stayed in one of the Yurts on site here, and brought Matheson's collie dogs with them. I won't give too much away, but to say that Robson and his Uncle Matheson seemed to have a lot of fun hunting their own breakfast while on site -- Ususally we do the hunting and just sell the egs in the shop -- but they enjoyed themselves raiding the henhouse and getting to know some of "The Girls" at Kestrel Lodge. And yes, I do think that the hens have got more air time than Louise in the end, you take a look and see for yourselves.

You can watch all of Robson and Matheson's fun from the whole weekend in Cumbria on BBC iPlayer along with the rest of the series, Robson Greens Weekend Escapes. He's getting about with some fabulously funny folk and I can highly recommend taking a look. Funny as well as some lovely places to discover.
