The Northern Lake District is a magical place to be all year round, so why limit yourself to visiting in the summer only. This brand new to market holiday cottage is available over Christmas and/or New Year 2023.

With the glorious changes to the colours on the fells as autumn comes around, and the crisp, frosty mornings of winter as you head out across the fields, there is truly nothing lovelier than heading back to a roaring log fire, a hot mug of cocoa, and the company of family and friends.

Now that Kestrel cottage is available, you can enjoy all this, right from the grounds of Kestrel Lodge.

A 3 bedroomed, 5 person holiday cottage, that’s cosy, comfortable, and comes with views across the lake from the front windows, and up to Great Cockup at the back. Whether you’re enjoying it with friends, family or on your own, it’s a great place to relax and unwind doing as much...or as little...as you feel like!

Want to get away from it all this Christmas? Or do you need more bedrooms than you've got at home? Want to join up with friends and make it a New Year's like no other with all of Keswick outside Moot Hall? Or watching the fireworks up on one of the fells at Midnight?  Fancy waking up on Boxing day...or New Year's day and blowing out the cobwebs with a trek up Skiddaw to get the old brain cells firing? Or even join the Kestrel Lodge Nutters with their Boxing day dip in Bassenthwaite Lake! BYO swimsuit/wetsuit, boots and gloves...laughter and shrieking provided for free! Last year there was even singing!
